Athena Safety Wearable
Send your location, and if needed, a distress signal to family and friends with Athena. Made by a B-Corp that funds programs to teach empathy to youth.
Real-time location tracking
Your emergency contacts will instantly be notified and receive a link to your GPS location* through a ROAR status update. It will continuously follow you while on the move as well.
Your location is only shared when you activate Athena or initiate a status within the mobile app.
“I live in NYC and am constantly harassed and followed. Athena has helped improve my quality of life immensely.”

Important details & popular questions
Please read: What are the mobile requirements for using Athena?
iOS: iPhone running iOS 9 or later.
Android: Phone running Android operating system 6.0.1 or later.
Will Athena be available internationally?
We believe women all over the world should be able to take part in ROAR's mission to reduce assaults. Athena is currently shipping in the US, and as we begin shipping to additional countries, we’ll add them to this list. Note that full Athena functionality is dependent upon being within your smartphone carrier coverage area. Also, please note that customers outside the United States will be responsible for payments that are not included in the purchase price such as taxes, VAT, duties, fees or other items.
Can Athena contact 911?
We are working toward engineering a solution that allows Athena to initiate a phone call when alarm mode is activated. More updates on this functionality will be available by 1Q 2018. Once 9-1-1 is available, it will be pushed live via an update through mobile application and it does NOT require a separate Athena purchase.
